Drum teacher – Trombone teacher – Conductor
Maxence teaches drums, percussions and trombone since a few, building a class of about 15 students as a private teacher. Being inspired by his students as always been a real joy for him, this convincing him that teaching his a real source of inspiration as a musician.
Since a year, Maxence also conduct a big band called “Point Jazz Band”, and also from time to time conducts other young bands in region of the Jura (CH).
Being patient, joyful and supporting is a priority for Maxence as a teacher. His approach brings the students in many musical worlds, like Jazz, Rock, Pop or Classical music. This diversity can bring the students to any band they would like.

Point Jazz Band
Led by Maxence Nappez, the Point Jazz Band of Courgenay (Jura-Switzerland) is a big band that has embraced the world of swing and jazz since the late 1990s.
The Point Jazz Band has spread its enthusiasm throughout the Jura region and beyond, performing in Basel, Lausanne, Féchy, Belfort (FIMU), and elsewhere. They have been invited to appear on the television programme Kiosque à Musique and have been featured several times on RSR radio in the programme Kiosque à musiques.
